Lightning Dice was released by Evolution in 2019, just one year after the company had introduced its lightning concept in Lightning Roulette. This is a Live Casino game that requires you to bet on a roll of three dice, and what sets it apart from similar games like Sic Bo is that lightning multipliers make it possible to win up to 1,000 times your bet. This game is also a lot easier to understand than Craps, making it just as suitable for beginners as it is for more experienced casino players.

Lightning Dice Info and Facts
Presentation and Format
Like other games in the Lightning series from Evolution, Lightning Dice is presented live from a purpose-built casino studio. The studio set has an elegant Art Deco style with an attractive black and gold colour scheme, and the focus of the game is on something called the Lightning Tower. This is a transparent construction into which the game presenter will introduce three dice. The tower has a multitude of blocks, angles and pegs that the dice must navigate before reaching the bottom, ensuring that the result is completely random.
This is a very simple game of chance, and both the studio and game equipment are similarly clean and uncluttered. Presenters wear special uniforms that blend right into the Art Deco style of the Lightning suite, and if you play with the lights turned down low it's easy to imagine that you've been transported back to a golden age of gaming when style and elegance were just as important as the potential to win big.
How to Play Lightning Dice
A user interface at the bottom of the game screen displays a range of panels that are consecutively numbered from 3 to 18. These reflect the possible totals that can be made by the three dice, and your job as the player is to bet on one or more of the available totals. To do this, simply select a casino chip that reflects the size of the bet you want to make and place it on the number total that you want to bet on. If you want to bet on all possibilities with equal stakes, you can do so by pressing a button marked Bet on All.
When bets have been placed, one or more numbers will be struck by lightning. Just like actual lightning, these strikes are completely random, but the numbers that are hit will be endowed with an RNG-based multiplier that can be worth as much as 1,000x. If you are lucky enough to have bet on a number that has been struck, you will be paid at the multiplied odds if that number wins.
After the lightning has calmed down, the presenter will drop three regular casino dice into the top of the Lightning Tower. An array of cameras will then track the progress of those dice down through the transparent construction so that you can watch every twist, turn, bob and bounce that occurs on the way.
Lightning Dice Payout Table
Whenever you shake three dice, their totals will always fall between 3 and 18, inclusive. However, not every total has an equal chance of occurring. The numbers 3 and 18, for example, can each occur in just one way, so they won't usually show up as often as a total of 10 or 11. To reflect this fact, this game offers correspondingly bigger payouts for winning totals that are harder to achieve. The possible totals and their associated payouts are shown in the table below:
3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 |
150x | 50x | 25x | 15x | 10x | 7x | 6x | 5x |
11 | 12 | 13 | 14 | 15 | 16 | 17 | 18 |
5x | 6x | 7x | 10x | 15x | 25x | 50x | 150x |
