Mad Cars is a high-octane grid slot from Push Gaming that takes place at some point in the future, long after the apocalypse has already been and gone. Society has descended to the level where it's every man and woman for him or herself, and one of the primary ways in which individuals prove their mettle is by racing their cars around a disused industrial wasteland. The game, which was released in 2022, has a rough, steampunk style, and gives you the chance to win 25,000 times your bet.

Mad Cars Slot Overview
About Mad Cars Slot
Okay, let's cut straight to the chase and say that, in our humble opinion, Mad Cars isn't one of the best-looking slot in the world. In fact, it wouldn't even make our top 100. We'd rate it a 5/10 at best for visuals, which means that there are thousands of other games that are - again, in our opinion - easier on the eyes.
The Mad Cars game is presented as a five-reel slot with six rows, and the industrial complex background illustration is great, but the symbols on the reels are just awful. They're clearly meant to have a steampunk look about them, but they're far too busy for their size and they're just not appealing to look at after more than a minute or two. Of course, if the intention is to make you feel as if you're actually in a cultural wasteland, they succeed.
Basically, the idea is that you're someone who races cars around the wasteland for kicks, kudos and possibly some financial rewards, too. An industrial-style soundtrack works well with the "trying too hard" visuals to enhance the post-apocalyptic atmosphere, and if you're a fan of the Mad Max movies you'll no doubt appreciate the lack of aesthetics far more than we do.
Mad Cars Slot Symbols
The symbols on the reels include a battered traffic cone, a spanner with a chain attached, a steering wheel cover, a pair of metal dice that could double as a mace, and four steampunk characters. You have a green-haired girl with a side cut, a bald guy with a menacing stare, a driver with purple dreadlocks and a demented-looking old guy in spikes.
While the symbols are acceptable when viewed close-up on the paytable, they just don't look good when you're actually spinning the reels. Bear that in mind, especially if you're looking for a game to play on your mobile phone.
Instant Prize Car symbols are also in play and come with a multiplier value attached. A yellow Scatter Car symbol serves as a scatter. All car symbols can only appear on the bottom row, to begin with.
How to Play Mad Cars Slot
After selecting your desired stake, press the spin button to set the reels in motion. You need three or more matching symbols to appear adjacent on a pay line from left to right to win a prize.
Instant Prize Cars
When an Instant Prize Car appears on the bottom row, it will have a multiplier value of 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, or 100x. Across the top of the reels, you'll see a horizontal Boost Reel which will spin at the same time as the five vertical reels. This Boost Reel can show several different symbols, as follows:
Basically, Instant Cars will stay on the reels until they eventually reach the top row by receiving enough gas. When a car reaches the top of the screen, you'll win its value and other cars will spin off the reels unless they have been protected by a Survivor modifier.
Mad Bonus Feature
This special feature is triggered when a Scatter Car reaches the top row. You'll be given 7 free spins and there will be one Instant Prize Car at the bottom of each reel. Spin the reels to get gas, multipliers and more, and you'll win the values of cars as they reach the top of their reels. When a car reaches the top, another car will appear at the bottom and you'll be given an extra free spin.
There are other modifier symbols that are used in the Mad Bonus Feature, including Persistent Payer symbols, Persistent Collector symbols, and more, but we will leave you to discover those for yourself.
Mad Cars RTP
The Mad Cars RTP slot is 96.39%.

Mad Cars Slot: CasinoGuide Verdict
We do our very best to be objective when reviewing online slots, we really do, but sometimes we simply don't get on with a game. That's the case here. While the Mad Cars slot is based on a neat idea, and has more than enough features to keep you entertained, we just don't think that it looks as good as it could. The symbols look messy, especially on smaller screens, and that spoils the enjoyment for us. Your mileage may vary, so if you like post-apocalyptic racing games, be sure to take it for a spin around the block for yourself.
