It's All Happening in the Woods
This is a 7x7 grid slot that is played in what appears to be the middle of the woods, where shafts of sunlight poke through the thick foliage overhead. The background is superbly animated with butterflies leaving trails of what looks like fairy dust, leaves swaying to and fro in the gentle breeze and similar atmospheric details.
All of the visuals in this game are impressive, but the soundtrack wasn't quite what we expected, given the theme. It could just be our mistake, but we hear the distinct sound of tribal drums in the rather generic soundtrack, and that isn't something we would normally associate with bees or nature in general. The track isn't terrible by any means, but we would have preferred something more relevant to the theme.
There are no pay lines because this is a cluster slot. Instead, you need to get a cluster of at least five matching symbols to win a prize. The larger the cluster of matching symbols, the more you can win.
Sticky Bees Symbols
The four symbols with the lowest values in this game are the playing card ranks of J, Q, K, and A. There are also six fruit symbols that pay increasing amounts, and those are cherries, grapes, oranges, watermelons, plums, and strawberries. A wild symbol appears on all seven reels, as does a BONUS scatter. A special Super Wild can also appear, as we will discuss very shortly.
Tumble Feature
Land a winning cluster and a Tumble feature will be triggered. This will cause the winning symbols to disappear and new symbols to take their place. If those new symbols help to create another winning cluster, another tumble will be triggered. This continues for as long as the wins keep coming.
Super Wilds
Each spin of the Sticky Bees reels will create anything from 12 to 19 randomly marked positions. If any of those positions is occupied by a Super Wild, it will activate that particular position. All activated positions will serve as wilds for the duration of the tumble sequence.

Sticky Bees: Our Verdict
We love the theme of this game and the visual design is very impressive. The gameplay is just as good, and the Super Wilds feature does a great job of giving the cluster slot format a fresh new feel.
The weakness, in our opinion, is in the soundtrack. It's a perfectly acceptable piece of music, but the tribal percussion elements and generic melody do absolutely nothing to enhance the sense of atmosphere.
If the developers had chosen a more fitting soundtrack, this impressive slot would be a lot more immersive. It's still a very good online slot, for sure, but it could have been even better.
