Amusnet Interactive seems to have appeared out of nowhere in 2022, complete with a library of hundreds of games, many of them instant hits. If that sounds rather unlikely then it's because it is.
Amusnet Interactive was actually the new name for the brand formerly known as EGT Interactive, so the provider itself has been around for quite some time. Since 2002, in fact, when the core EGT company was formed in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Read on to learn more about the rebrand, the games that are available from Amusnet, and where to find them.
Top-Rated Amusnet Casinos
An iGaming Provider with Land-Based Roots
The Amusnet Interactive story begins in 2002 when Euro Games Technology (more commonly known as EGT) was formed. The main objective back then was to create gaming machines for land-based casinos, but online casinos were already around and so an EGT Interactive division was created in 2007 to cater to those.
The new Interactive division fared very well, and released hundreds of games over the next 15 years, most of which can still be played.
Corporate branding has always been important, but in today's world of social media networks and viral news, it's even more so. Unfortunately, EGT and EGT Interactive weren't deemed as being distinct enough for people to tell the difference (one being focused on land-based games and the other on iGaming).
It was therefore decided that EGT Interactive should be rebranded, and so Amusnet Interactive was born in 2022.
Today, there are more than 250 games available under the Amusnet Interactive brand, and around 180 of them can be played at online casinos in New Zealand. New games are being released by the company on a regular basis.

A Varied Range of Games
The range of games that have been released by Amusnet Interactive and its EGT Interactive predecessor is as varied as you could want. While the company has a soft spot for classic video slots (which is unsurprising, given EGT's excellent work in creating gaming machines for land-based venues) it also has plenty of titles with thoroughly modern formats and assorted themes. Titles include everything from Action Money and Blue Oceans to Wonder Tree and Zodiac Wheel, so every letter of the alphabet is represented at least once.
Although most of the games released by this brand are slots, you'll also find table games and Live Casino games bearing the Amusnet name. Vegas Roulette 500x and Dynamic Roulette 120x are two of the most popular among Kiwis.
While those of you who have the time and inclination could play your way through the complete library of Amusnet games, it might be easier to focus on playing those that are particularly big hits here in New Zealand. Here are a few of the games we would personally recommend:
20 Bulky Fruits
This company likes to release games that have numbers in their titles, and 20 Bulky Fruits is a great example. The fruits being referred to are the traditional fruit machine symbols on the reels, and 20 is the number of pay lines that are active. In addition to providing a traditional Vegas-style video slot experience, 20 Bulky Fruits also gives you a shot at winning one of four progressive jackpots through its random Jackpot Cards feature.

Art of Gold
Released in 2023, Art of Gold is one of the latest titles from Amusnet as we prepare this review, but you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at it. That's because it has a deliberately retro theme, with the five reels being packed with cherries, oranges, plums, grapes, watermelon slices and other traditional slot symbols. Spin a winning combination and you'll be given the opportunity to try and increase it through an optional gamble feature.
Thumbelina Dream
Based on the classic children's story by Hans Christian Andersen, Thumbelina is a 6-reel slot with 250 pay lines. Symbols include many of the animals featured in the original tale, including the field mouse, the mole, and the toad. Land three handsome prince scatters on the reels and you'll win 10 Free Spins with an expanding wild in play and additional free spins being awarded by further scatter symbols. The Jackpot Cards feature is present in this game, too.

The Secrets of London
Released in 2017, The Secrets of London is a five-reel slot with a timeless Sherlock Holmes theme. The reels are set against a background showing the River Thames, and symbols include a pipe, a pocket watch, a diamond, Big Ben, Holmes and Watson. A secret key will give you 7 Free Spins with a 3x multiplier, and three magnifying glass symbols will give you 5 Bonus Free Spins. If you've ever fancied a trip to London, this could be the next best thing.
Vegas Roulette 500x
This is a Live Casino game that was released in 2022. It is basically a Live Casino version of European Roulette, so the wheel only has one green zero, making it more favourable to players than the two-zero wheel used in American Roulette. All of the usual European Roulette bets can be made, but what makes this game different is that as many as five numbers will be randomly selected to receive a multiplier value of up to 500x. Anyone who has made a straight-up bet on one of those numbers will be paid at the enhanced odds if it wins.
Amusnet Interactive: A Trusted Brand Reborn
The rebranding of EGT Interactive as Amusnet Interactive has undoubtedly made it easier for the general public to distinguish between this iGaming provider and its EGT parent. It has also given the trusted brand a whole new lease of life.
While it already has over 250 games, the company continues to work hard at creating new ones, and whenever you launch an Amusnet title you can be sure it will provide all the entertainment you could want.
Look out for this brand the next time you have some casino time to spare and enjoy the games.
